I like the idea of velcro replacing buttons but I was disappointed that some of the stitching that attached the velcro started unraveling when pulled apart when opening the shirt. I would suggest reinforcing the stitching on each velcro button. I had to do that myself with a needle and thread on each of the velcro buttons that close the front of the shirt.
