In an effort to preserve the dignity of those suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's disease, this garment gives the illusion of a 2-piece outfit, but is actually a 1-piece jumpsuit designed to discourage undressing. Sewn together at the waist with a zipper up the back and soft elastic at the ankles. Solid colors.
Why a back-zip design? Out of sight Out of mind! In an effort to preserve the dignity of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, we have designed a variety of one-piece garments with a deep back zipper to prevent unwanted undressing. Some women unintentionally expose themselves, because they find it necessary to fidget with the nearest thing – usually their clothing. Our jumpsuits have been very successful at reducing or even eliminating potentially embarrassing behavior. Family members and staff are grateful, because dignity has been restored. The jumpsuit that looks like a sweatsuit!! It discourages undressing, but is very soft and stretchy. Perfect for the person who undresses as a pastime, but not for the aggressive undresser.
