The length of the zippers and the fact that they are bilateral allow the wearer to comfortably unzip the pants for easier dressing and for toilet transfers. This style has a generous flap of material that covers the seat and snaps at the waist allowing the caregiver to dress the individual while the person is sitting in the wheelchair or recliner. The flap of material completely covers the buttocks if the individual is standing insuring his or her modesty.

The third style of pants for the man or woman who uses a wheelchair is our side closure pants. Snaps or velcro on both sides allow the pants to drop easily for toileting and dressing purposes.
