UPS Ground or Priority Mail
If you select Standard Shipping ($9.00) as your shipping method, your order can take anywhere from 1 to 9 days in transit, depending upon your location. If your order is received after 1:00 p.m. on a weekday, it will most likely leave our Seattle facility the following business day (alterations excepted). This choice allows us to choose either UPS ground or Priority Mail and we base this choice on the weight of the package. UPS now has the post office deliver some small packages the last part of the journey, this is called UPS surepost.
If you have a post office box, you must always give us a street address as well.
For example, an order received on a Monday after 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time and going to Boston via UPS will leave our warehouse in Seattle on Tuesday and will take 5 business days to arrive the following Tuesday. If there is a hemming, collar, or other alteration, add one extra day. If it is a small order it would go priority mail and could take just 3 days.
Alaska and Hawaii should allow up to 10 days. We charge a flat fee of $9 per order in the continental U.S. and $19 for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and other US Territories. If a nursing home is placing a larger "house order", we will assess the exact shipping charges at the time of shipment and add that to the invoice.
If you have chosen Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air, please be aware that we do not ship on weekends, nor does UPS deliver on weekends. If an order is placed after 1pm Pacific time, Monday through Friday, it will ship the next business day. Also, if you order over the weekend, your Next Day or Second Day order will ship the following Monday. Please refer to our shipping rate chart below for expedited shipping charges. If we are unable to get the order out on time due to a special alteration (or any other issue), we will notify you. In the event of a return, the expedited shipping charges are non-refundable.
