What type of clothing does Buck and Buck carry for individuals who've had recent hip replacement surgery?
Buck and Buck will design clothing to meet your special needs if at all possible. For those who have had recent hip replacement surgery and require easy access to the surgical site while also needing to get dressed for physical therapy, you may want to wear our fleece (for women, style 40H and for men, style 40H_) and polyester (for women, 39B) or twill (for men, style 40D) side-snap pants. The pants have 3 snaps at the waistband on both sides that allows an extra large opening for ease in dressing and for access to the hip area. If you require a plus size because of a full figure and you don't see the size that you need during recovery from your hip replacement surgery, just ask us and we'll try to accommodate.
You should also consider the choice of shoes and socks while recovering from your hip replacement. Your shoes and socks should be wide enough to adjust for any swelling in the feet and the soles of your shoes should be of the non-skid variety.
Let us know what your special needs are so that we can help you to look good and feel more comfortable during your recovery period.
