If the woman needs an open back dress, don’t forget to select open back slips. Sometimes we forget about the need for open back undergarments when choosing clothing from our adaptive clothing line. In order to make the entire dressing process less of a struggle, the undergarments are just as important as the outerwear.

Our snap back slips open completely down the back and may be put on while the woman is lying in bed, sitting on the side of her bed or sitting in a wheelchair. Open the slip completely down the back and place her arms into the armholes. If she is seated in a chair, the slip is then pulled up over the shoulders and the snaps closed down the back. If the woman is in bed, turn her onto her back and place her arms into the armholes, then smooth the front of the slip in place. Tuck the sides of the slip slightly under her back and turn her to one side. Gently pull one side of the garment into place and then turn the woman to the other side and do the same thing. Close the snaps while she is on one side.
