Indicates adaptive design.Lounge wear and nightwear are always great gifts as well as practical additions to the wardrobe. We have a nice selection for you to choose from in both traditional and adaptive styles and if flannel is her favorite material, you can purchase that from us all year long.
Our rear closure garments open down the back for ease in dressing the woman who cannot raise the arms over the head to put on a pajama or lounge top, or who is confined to a wheelchair or bed. All of our rear closure garments have either snaps down the back strategically placed to avoid pressure points on the body or shoulder snaps with ample fabric overlap providing good coverage and comfort.
We also have several back-zip sleeper suits designed to preserve the dignity of the woman who may attempt to undress inappropriately due to a dementia. Our sleeper suits look like two piece coordinated garments, but are one piece outfits with a long zipper down the back to discourage the wearer from pulling the clothing off. It is the "out of sight out of mind" strategy that keeps the wearer from tugging at a front zipper, buttons or snaps and then pulling the clothing off.
The sleeper suits should only be worn when a caregiver is present because the back zipper does prevent the wearer from toileting independently, so keep that in mind as you shop.
