Lots of women love the comfort of slacks, but also the look of a well matched outfit. You are certain to find at least one style in our pants sets & separates collection to meet your needs. We have styles for the independent self dresser, adaptive styles for the self dresser with a handicap as well as for the woman who needs the help of another person to dress. In our adaptive line, you can mix and match to suit the woman’s dressing abilities. Select rear closure tops for the woman who cannot raise her arms to pull on a shirt or who might be confined to a bed or recliner. Match them with side zip pants if she cannot dress herself or needs help with toileting. Remember, any of our tops can be made into the rear closure style. Just ask us.

The adaptive side zip pants have bilateral, 22 inch zippers that allow the woman confined to a wheelchair to open the pants to below the knees for easier toilet transfers. The bilateral, long zippers also make it easy for a caregiver to assist in dressing the women while she is still in bed. Place her legs into the foot openings and pull the pants up bringing the front of the pants up to her waist area and then turn her to one side and pull up the back of the slacks to her waist and close the zipper on that side. Turn her to the other side and repeat the last steps. The long zippers make the garment easier to pull on without unnecessary tugging.
